Fields of work
I manage international science relations of the oceanography research unit, ensure efficient communication between the various institute units dealing with ocean sciences, increase the visibility of unit’s and institute’s results at the national and international level and occasionally plan and organise various events.
Research interests
I hold an engineering diploma in chemistry and a PhD in oceanographic science, more particularly in biogeochemistry and carbon cycle. I am interested in all topics related to oceanography, from observations to modeling, from operational to experimental, from local to global level.
Special competences
I have almost two decades of experience in coordinating international large scale multidisciplinary research programmes in particular in marine and atmospheric sciences. I have a deep knowledge of the dynamics of national and international science landscapes, with a solid understanding of climate sciences with high societal and practical relevance.
