Fields of work
My work will be performed as part of the Swedish Research Council FORMAS funded project “FutureGS - The fate of the Gulf Stream in a changing climate”. My task is to analyze the changes in North Atlantic Ocean circulation under warming climate conditions. We are particularly interested in analyzing changes in the Gulf Stream and the Meridional Overturning Circulation, and the potential impact of these changes on the Arctic and European climate.
Research interests
I have a BSc in Oceanography and an MSc degree in Physical Oceanography. I recently obtained a PhD degree from the University of Trieste (Italy) in Earth Sciences with a focus on Oceanography and Atmospheric Physics.
My expertise is in ocean dynamics, ocean modeling, programming, and numerical analysis.
