HYPE Data Delivery Services

SMHI offers data deliveries from the hydrological model HYPE in standardized formats or customized to your needs. In addition, our team of experts is ready to answer your questions on model setup, calibration and data deliveries.

What we offer

  • Standardized deliveries of modelled discharge or other hydrologic variables from our current HYPE model versions in Excel format or NetCDF-format.
  • Development of new operational model applications with deliveries in any format.
  • Bring your own data to use/merge with the HYPE model.
  • Model development on request.
  • Support and consulting.

Data licence

All data are licensed under Creative Commons 4.0 SE, allowing you to use the data in any way, including for commercial purposes. Acknowledgement is required and it must be indicated whether the license material has been processed.

Prices

Data itself is free of charge, but there are costs associated with the production and distribution of data, as well as maintaining support for our customers. At present, forecasts are available from two HYPE domains: Europe and Sweden.
