SMHI's hydrological research unit is leading work package four: “Design of improved model interfaces in the Land-Ocean Continuum”. This includes calibration of flows and transport of substances, based on SMHI's E-HYPE model and with a particular focus on European coastal areas. The hydrological research unit is also co-leading work package five: “Building, validation and demonstration of improved model interfaces in the Land-Ocean Continuum”.
