For the Media - On-Duty Meteorologist
For contact with SMHI’s forecasting and warning services regarding current weather, forecasts, and warnings. Regular opening hours at 06.00 - 22.30
For the Media - On-Duty Oceanographer
For enquiries about current sea water levels along the coastlines, contact SMHI's oceanographic forecasting and warning services. Regular opening hours at 08.00 - 17.00.
For the Media - On-Duty Hydrologist
For enquiries about current river flows, contact SMHI's hydrological forecasting and warning services. Regular opening hours at 08.00 - 17.00.
Facts and statistics about weather, water and climate
Climatologist
For questions about weather statistics, historical weather and climate, meteorological phenomena, etc. Email is monitored weekdays 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Hydrologist
For questions about lakes and watercourses, statistics, hydrological phenomena, etc. Email is monitored weekdays 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Oceanographer
For general questions about the state of the ocean, oceanography and marine biology, such as cyanobacteria (algal blooms). Email is monitored weekdays 9:00 a.m –4:00 p.m
