Summary
In the Skagerrak, 10 stations with complete hydrography were taken. In the Kattegat mapping of oxygen conditions in bottom water was performed, 11 stations with complete hydrography and 19 with oxygen and salinity near bottom were sampled. The lowest oxygen concentration measured in the bottom water of the Skagerrak was 3.74 ml/l at station P2 in the eastern part. The oxygen values of the Kattegat were lower than normal. The lowest values detected, 0.7 ml/l were found in the Sound. Several station in the south-eastern part of Kattegatt showed values below 2 ml/l.
