Life-form: Solitary

Size: Length c. 6-18 µm, length of flagella up to c. 30 µm

Resting spore:

Note: It swims like a Telonema subtile, but Telonema sp. has longer flagella and peculiar ridges on the cell surface. It was common in coastal waters in spring and summer
