Life-form: Phycoma phase and solitary flagellate?

Size: Diameter=(18?)30-40 µm

Resting spore:

Note: The phycoma stage from Skagerrak was much smaller than reported from the litterature

Distinctive features: Alae in a pentagonal pattern and raws of pores in the outer wall of phycoma phase

Similar species: Pterosperma cristatum P. marginatum
