Switch-On selected as EU success story – again!

The story of Switch-On has been included in yet another compilation booklet of success stories which includes projects from different areas covered by the societal research challenge "Climate Action and Resource Efficiency". It has been selected together with two other actions on EU research within Earth Observations.

"Switch-on was selected for the big potential and impact that Switch-On can create, and its alignment with the main policy priorities (Open Science, Open Innovation) of the EU research," says Jose-Miguel Rubio-Iglesias for the EC, DG Research & Innovation.

Berit Arheimer, SMHI researcher and project coordinator in the Switch-On consortium, is very proud of the recognition:

"There’s a huge potential in cooperation across Europe, and we are creating this success together. I am proud of the hard work by all partners involved and the efficient Project Office at SMHI."
