Development of direct and inverse aerosol optics models, with the goal to evaluate and constrain aerosol microphysics and transport models with remote sensing observations. Development of methods for assimilating satellite observations in chemical transport and air-quality forecasting modelling systems.

Member of award committee for Elsevier’s van de Hulst Light Scattering Award for Landmark Lifetime Achievements.
