The aim of the project is to produce daily charts of Sea Surface Temperature in the Baltic. The product will be based on in situ as well as satellite data of sea surface temperature. Ice conditions will also be taken into account. An optimization of the SST algorithm used for satellite data will be carried out. All data will, furthermore, be subjected to an automatic quality control. 
BOOS members participate in the project, which is chaired by Karin Borenäs, SMHI.
