| Atmospheric transport, chemistry and
deposition MATCH stands for Multiscale Atmospheric Transport and Chemistry Model. MATCH models the basic processes governing sources, atmospheric transport and sinks of atmospheric trace constituents in a three-dimensional framework. The model is Eulerian and can be configured with an arbitrary number of layers in the vertical and for different geographical areas with different resolution. Depending on application, specific modules describing physical or chemical transformation processes are added to the basic model. Forcing meteorological data can be taken from operational numerical weather prediction models such as HIRLAM or ECMWF, objective analysis such as MESAN or from combinations of these. Content
