General information: The data from Sweden have been provided by the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute.

The data covers the period from January 1970 to December 2001. The numbers of stations are around 52-56.

List of stations, File contains information on the following subjects: BALTEX Station Nr, Start year, End year, Name of station, Basin Nr, Watercourse, Main Watercourse, Latitude DDMM, Longitude DDMM, Catchment Area and Lake%.

List of data (year) and list of data (month). Files contains information on data available at BHDC from the stations in the above mentioned list. The information is in matrix form and is coded as follows, F = full year, S = some or all data missing. O  = data from some day (days) of the month is (are) missing.
