General information: The data from Russia have been provided by the the Russian State Hydrological Institute in S:t Petersburg and the Kaliningrad Regional Centre of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring in Kaliningrad. The largest part of the data have been collected at the BALTEX Secretariat.

The data covers different periods depending on the origin. The number of data are from 4 to 172 from the years 1980 to 1997.

Data from the Kaliningrad region covers the period January 1992 to December 1993.

List of stations, File contains information on the following subjects: BALTEX Station Nr, Start year, End year, Name of station, Basin Nr, Watercourse, Main Watercourse, Latitude DDMM, Longitude DDMM, Catchment Area and Lake%.

List of data (year) and list of data (month). Files contains information on data available at BHDC from the stations in the above mentioned list. The information is in matrix form and is coded as follows, F = full year, S = some or all data missing. O  = data from some day (days) of the month is (are) missing.
