General information: The data from the Neva catchment have been provided by the Russian State Hydrological Institute and the Finnish Environment Institute. Some of th russian data have been collected at the BALTEX Secretariat.

The data covers different periods depending on the country of origin. The Russian data covers the period from November 1986 to March 1987, September 1992 to August 1993 and from October 1995 to March 1996. Three russian stations cover the period January 1981 to December 1988. The finnish data covers the period from January 1970 to December 1996.

List of stations, File contains information on the following subjects: BALTEX Station Nr, Start year, End year, Name of station, Basin Nr, Watercourse, Main Watercourse, Latitude DDMM, Longitude DDMM, Catchment Area and Lake%.

List of data, File contains information on data available at BHDC from the stations in the above mentioned list. The information is in matrix form and is coded as follows, F = full year, S = some or all data missing.
