Daugava basin, station chart

General information
The data from the Daugava catchment have been provided by the Latvian Hydrometeorological Agency, the Russian State Hydrological Institute, the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Agency and by the Committee for Hydrometeorology of Belarus. Most of the data have been collected at the BALTEX Secretariat.

The data cover different periods depending on the country of origin. Russian data cover the period from September 1992 to August 1993 and from October 1995 to March 1996. Latvian and lithuanian data cover the period January 1980 to December 1996. Belarussian data cover the period from January 1992 to December 1993 and October 1995 to May 1996.

List of stations, File contains information on the following subjects: BALTEX Station Nr, Start year, End year, Name of station, Basin Nr, Watercourse, Main Watercourse, Latitude DDMM, Longitude DDMM, Catchment Area and Lake%.

List of data, File contains information on data available at BHDC from the stations in the above mentioned list. The information is in matrix form and is coded as follows, F = full year, S = some or all data missing.
