General information: The data from the Baltic states have been provided by the Estonian Meteorological and Hydrological Institute in Tallin, the Latvian Hydrometeorological Agency in Riga and the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Agency in Vilnius. Some of the data have been collected at the BALTEX Secretariat.

With the exception of October 1999-September 2000 data from 8 Estonian large stations cover the period from January 1980 to September 2001. 1986-1987 and 1992-1993 the number of stations is 44.

Latvian data from 11 large stations cover the period from January 1980 to December 2000. 2001 the number of station is 7.

Lithuanian data from 10 stations cover the period from January 1980 to December 2000. For some years the number of stations are up to 66.

List of data, File contains information on data available at BHDC from the stations in the above mentioned list. The information is in matrix form and is coded as follows, F = full year, S = some or all data missing. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania
