Visibility

Visibility is the greatest distance at which a dark and a sufficiently large object stands out against the sky. If visibility is less than 1 km, it is misty.

How is the data compiled?

The results are presented in the form of tables, maps or diagrams, according to your requirements.

Visibility observations can, for example, be presented in a time series or monthly table. Daily, seasonal and annual variations can also be presented.

The number of observations of visibility, in absolute figures or as a percentage, divided by the amount of months, can be ordered in a frequency table.
