Through cooperation with metrological institutes throughout the world, SMHI has access to data from many measuring stations abroad.
Where are these measurements taken?
In Europe, we have collected data from the end of the 1970s, often with a resolution of every three hours. From the rest of the world, there is data from 1997 with observations every third to every sixth hour.
In the column on the right there are maps which you can zoom in and out of and a list of all of the stations abroad. The station selection takes place in consultation with our meteorologists.
How is the data compiled?
The results are presented in the form of tables, maps or diagrams, according to your requirements.
