Summary

Oxygen conditions in the main part of the Hanö Bight, around the Midsjö Banks and in the Northern part of the Bornholm Basin were moderate, with at least 2 ml/l oxygen shallower than 60 metres at all stations. Lower concentrations were found between 60 metres and the bottom. No hydrogen sulphide was observed at any station in these areas. Oxygen concentrations below 2 ml/l were found both west and east of Gotland, at depths exceeding 64-80 metres. Hydrogen sulphide was found at one station west of Gotland at 110 metres, and very low oxygen conditions were found at adjacent stations. A fisheries cruise report is available from the National Board of Fisheries (www.fiskeriverket.se).
