Summary
This report presents the results from the first of two December cruises. The Baltic Proper and the Bothnian Bay were visited. Merely three phytoplankton stations were sampled due to the stormy weather in the area. The potentially harmful flagellate Prymnesium cf. polylepis was present at all three stations. There was nothing more to report from the phytoplankton stations. The integrated chlorophyll a concentrations were approximately at average at all stations. No further detailed information will be presented in this report, only a species list and chlorophyll diagrams.
