Modernisation of the Swedish national weather radar network, SWERAD

SWERAD is a collaboration between the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) formulated to manage the Swedish national weather radar network.
FMV and SMHI cooperates in a joint Project Organisation, SWERAD2020, during the modernisation.
FMV will on behalf of SWERAD 2020 manage the procurement.

The procurement consists of:
1. Modernisation to 12 dual polarised Doppler weather radars.
2. Maintenance and spare parts.

The system shall be calibrated, controlled and monitored remotely. All equipment must be physically accommodated in existing facilities and on existing towers. Upgrading of existing weather radars or new radars can be offered.

Satellite Reception System

The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) invite tenders
for the procurement of a Satellite Reception System.
The procurement shall be carried out in accordance to the regulations given for open procedure purchase in the Swedish Public Procurement Act (2007:1091).

Wave Buoy 2010

The Oceanographic laboratory of the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) invites tenders for the procurement of two wave buoys.
The procurement will be carried out in accordance to the regulations given for simplified procedure purchase in the Swedish Public Procurement Act (2007:1091).
Latest day for arrivals of tenders to SMHI will be november 8th 2010.

Analysis instrument

The Oceanographic laboratory of the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) invites tenders for the procurement of a scientific analysis instrument for the measurement of carbon dioxide and its partial pressure in seawater and in air.
