Dataset description 

BALPAL is a site dedicated to supporting paleoclimate research in the Greater Baltic Area. BALPAL has been designed as a flexible storehouse for relevant information and data. Users can upload paleoclimate data in any format, or simply create a reference page to data or information hosted on another site. The BALPAL first public release as the capability to plot time-series data from a limited number of formats. We expect to expand the the data-analysis capability of BALPAL in future releases.

We hope that by providing this service, fellow researchers will be encouraged to submit their own data, and help build a high-quality base for advancing paleoclimate research in north-western Europe.
