Oxygen concentrations in the Kattegatt bottom water were mapped. Low oxygen concentrations were found in the bottom water at Lundåkrabukten 1.95 ml/l and Skälderviken 1.51 ml/l. In the south east parts of Kattegatt the oxygen concentrations varied between 2.3 to 3.0 ml/l.

Surface temperatures varied between 15.2 and 16.8°C. Nutrient concentrations were normal for the season in almost all areas. High fluorescence values were measured at the Å section in the Skagerrak, as well as in the northern part of the Sound. Hydrogen sulphide was found at depths greater than 70-80...

Surface temperatures varied between 9 and 12 degrees C. Nutrient concentrations were normal for the season in all areas. Hydrogen sulphide was found at depths greater than 120-140 meters.

The weather was windy, from 4 m/s to 34 m/s. The surface water temperatures were between 2.1 and 4.8°C in the Gulf of Bothnia, 4.7 and
6.8°C in the Baltic proper, 5.0 and 5.9°C i the Sound and the Kattegatt, and 4.4 and 8.4 in the Skagerrak. Oxygen concentrations below 2ml/l were found at 125 m and...

Mapping in the Kattegat was performed. The weather was in the beginning of the cruise dominated by strong northerly to north-easterly winds and by the end the winds shifted to south and decreased. The temperatures were slightly higher than normal for the season. The nutrient concentrations were lower...

Mapping was performed in the Baltic. The weather was mostly cloudy and hazy. Moderate to strong winds from the west dominated. The surface water temperatures were normal for the season in the whole area i.e. about 5°C in the Skagerak, 3°C in the Kattegat and between 2 and 4°C in the Baltic. The spring...

The weather was either totally cloudy or quite clear with sunshine. The first part of the expedition had winds from the Southeast to the South, the later part winds from the West to the North. Sometimes the wind was within the limit of gale. The surface temperatures were between 1.5 and 3.5°C in the...

Weak winds from the north dominated. The surface water temperatures were normal for the season in the whole area i.e. about 6°C in the Skagerak, 6.5°C in the Kattegat and between 5 and 3°C in the Baltic. Water of high nitrate content (20 mM) was found north of Jylland (station HS5) In the Kattegat both...

The surface water temperatures were normal for the whole area. The nutrient concentrations were low in all sea areas, which is normal for the season due to the ongoing algal blooms. Oxygen concentrations below 2 ml/l were found on depths under 80 m in the Western and Eastern Gotland Basin, and under...
