Surface water temperatures as well as all nutrient concentrations were normal for the season in all areas. In the Skagerrak and in the Kattegat, the spring bloom was over. An ongoing spring bloom was observed in the northwestern part of the Baltic. Oxygen concentrations below 2 ml/l were found in the...

The surface water temperatures were normal for the whole area. The nutrient concentrations were low in all sea areas with exception of HS 5 at the Jutland coast (high nitrate) and W Landskrona in the Sound (high silicate). These low values are normal for the season due to the algal blooms. Oxygen concentrations...

Nutrient conditions were normal for the season. Hydrogen sulphide was found in the deep water in large areas of the Baltic and oxygen concentrations below 2 ml/l was generally found at depths exceeding 60 to 70 metres in the whole Baltic Proper. In the Skagerrak there was an ongoing bloom of a coccolitophorid...

The surface water temperatures were between 14.8-18.9°C in the whole area. Oxygen concentrations below 2 ml/l were found at depths greater than 70m in the Bornholm Basin, at the Landsort and the Karlsö Deep, greater than 80 m in the eastern Gotland Basin and in the southeastern Baltic. Hydrogen sulphide...

Oxygen concentrations in the Kattegatt bottom water were mapped. Low oxygen concentrations were found in the bottom water at Lundåkrabukten 1.95 ml/l and Skälderviken 1.51 ml/l. In the south east parts of Kattegatt the oxygen concentrations varied between 2.3 to 3.0 ml/l.

Surface temperatures varied between 15.2 and 16.8°C. Nutrient concentrations were normal for the season in almost all areas. High fluorescence values were measured at the Å section in the Skagerrak, as well as in the northern part of the Sound. Hydrogen sulphide was found at depths greater than 70-80...

The weather was windy, from 4 m/s to 34 m/s. The surface water temperatures were between 2.1 and 4.8°C in the Gulf of Bothnia, 4.7 and
6.8°C in the Baltic proper, 5.0 and 5.9°C i the Sound and the Kattegatt, and 4.4 and 8.4 in the Skagerrak. Oxygen concentrations below 2ml/l were found at 125 m and...
